Fashion week

New York Fashion week has started and usually I'm ahead of the game, but this year I've just been waiting for the weekend. This year, I have some sources who will be at London Fashion Week so that'll be exciting. I tried asking for a ticket or even 'being a bag' but security's tight there. I came across the 'Pantone fashion colour report' with some sketches I thought were ravishing. Particulary BCBG, David Meister and Peter Som. Pamela Roland, Rachel Roy are close seconds. Which gowns would you don?

Runway

Countryside Chic
THE wealth of shooting-weekend chic on the catwalks revealed that the Downton influence is still holding sway. Designers revisited all the country classics: corduroy jackets and jodhpurs, tweedy plus-fours, Fair Isle knits and sturdy leather boots, buffed to a conker shine.
"The familiar country dress codes of plaid, corduroy and traditional tailoring were seen throughout the collections, with dramatic coats best played out in utility fabrics and earthy, autumnal colours," explains Vogue market editor Emma Elwick-Bates.

Monday 10th August

Monday!
Today was interesting. My Maths teacher is from Africa (Or somewhere similar) so when i'm sat trying to take notes (for a GCSE exam) and he's trying to teach decimals he keeps moaning, 'Dats ma place' I'm like, 'Get on with the lesson, not too keen on your house'. Turns out he was mentioning decimal places. But still. Doesn't help i'm sat next to a stud from my road. So funny as I'm not keen on him; but my mum says 'Oooh look at him in those tight trousers'. And my first instinct is, 'MUM WTF. HE'S LIKE 30 YEARS YOUR SENIOR. THAT'S PAEDOPHILIA!' My second is, 'Is he gay?' Funny with boys today. It's automatically 'cool' to dress like girls. I think the Jonas Brothers  have really corrupted the fashion sense of boys today. Tighter jeans than your girlfriend? Cardigans? Pouting? And blame the TOWIE crew for: clothes that don't fit, bags which females wear and of course fake tan or as they say 'Guyliner'. The stud wears guyliner. Which is a little disturbing as he smells nothing like a girl (Pity for me). Who's had that moment when you think, 'BINTM and Styled to rock marathon'! then homework when mum's friends pop round and its all bottoms up. I have to postpone my marathon (Waa. Boo. Hiss!) and as I have to look so enthused by their presence, by the time they leave (severly drunk) I have no time to do my homework or watch my stuff. Why! There's probably people thinking, 'She's such a bad influence doing her homework late' eh. Seriously, who does homework when they get it? When I get it my Internet is pants and there's an event instead. Like random dinner party, surprise opticians appointment. You get the jest. Best feeling is being sat in a business studies class staring at blank minds thinking, 'I own a business already. In your face!'. I'm very confused. One female photographer says I have a young look. Another says I look so much older than 14. What to go with?! If I'm young to still be a Disney Channel kid someone get me in contact with them. Who didn't dream of being like Hannah Montana as a kid? Then I tried speaking like Hannah Montana to my parents... not so dreamlike.
See ya's for tomorrow!x

Sunday 9th September

Sunday!
Today was interesting. Wearing a dress that was in London Fashion Week, ooft honoured. In erm a park. Getting it covered in mud and dogs, excrete. As you do. Another shoot today (Two in one week I squeezed in! Bear in mind I have school) woo. I think I preferred this one today. As the male, photographer was kinda erm aesthetically pleasing (Thank lord this is a blog for teenage girls). So yes. It was very Alice in Wonderland. Highlight of the day was when the other models wear changing into something, kinkay. Bra's were on show (but if you're like me and have pathetic bras with strappy, spaghetti-style straps upstaging you, any bra is always on show).   and the photographer went, 'Well 80% of us have boobs. I will if I keep eating the way I do'I was thinking, 'Meaning I actually have titties or he has some bigger than mine?' didn't help that at that point he was 'double checking' to see if I had a growth spurt, lol. I also competed with a spider in one shot. Little rascal trying to steal the shot. When we were in a group shot the designer shouted out,'Make yourself stand out' so I just positioned my hands infront of the other girls. Brownie points to me! Funny how the photographer liked it, hahah.
Is it me, but is it cringey when boys pout? Specially when their lips are super glossy. I'm sat there thinking, 'How TF is that possible, boy?'. Asking a boy for make-up tips, as you do.
See ya's for tomorrow!x

Friday 7th August

Friday!
Today was interesting. It's friday... TGIF! Party go out, whatever. Or be like me at home tweeting, facebooking, emailing, blogging and er EATING!  Pretty much my whole social life. Oh well. Three weeks till the birthday, not too fussed about it but hey. It's always a 'blast' for all the wrong reasons... What's new today. Found She, discovering the enlightenment of 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. Smiling, suspiciously... Awkward. What wasn't pleasant on the other hand was being woken by a huge, many stone dog. Not talking about the siblings. Then everyone complains I'm in a rubbish mood, well erm with the equivalent of a sumo wrestler sat on my bed for half an hour. I don't think of ways to get it off me, I just sit there trying to wriggle it off? Not cool. Anywho. When you order a shopping bag from a large, department store and an adult DVD turns up instead. What a mix up. I doubt parading around school with that will get me any A*'s. Infact speaking of A*'s, huge congrats to those who received them. I'm sure your revision paid off- if you didn't and you just 'wing it' good one! I sometimes find that. When you don't revise for a test and come out with great grades, then when you do you come out with bad ones? Hey ho. See ya's for tomorrow!

Fashions night out!

Vogue's 'Fashion Night Out' was well, out last night in London.Described as Vogue's very own 'London 2012 street party'.  Even its official T-shirt was an unexpected success - selling out at the Condé Nast Worldwide store in less than an hour (Wow!).  A night of fashion, fashionistas, parties and well free booze. Better not have gotten too tipsy for those towering high heels!
Victoria Beckham Anna Wintour
The annual event was pioneered by Anna Wintour (Fashionista in chief) in 2009, as a way to boast the slumping economy. Described by Matthew Williamson as 'A carnival atmosphere' it's supported by designers, celebrities, brands (Including: Topshop, Lulu  and well star shoppers- flocking in 19 different countries.
To name the events in the USA, Kim Kardashian was out in New York partying. Kate Upton judged a karaoke competition at Michael Kors, and Jennifer Hudson debuted her new clothing line at a pop-up shop in the Meatpacking District. Anna Wintour and Victoria Beckham  paling around at the Bergdorf party.

But London partied just as well. Named the city with the most stylish visitors, woo. Music by Labrinth was overheard from Emporio Armarni's secret garden party. Girl band 'Delilah' performed at Topshop.  Elsewhere in Covent Garden, the Chanel human vending machines went down a storm - manned by hidden people who dispensed the chosen products into Chanel bags. Unsurprisingly, some of the most popular spots involved food, as lengthy queues formed outside Missoni's ice cream van, Daks' popcorn stall and Hotel Chocolat's pop-up venue. The talk between Francesca Burns and Bronwyn Cosgrave on the legacy of Coco Chanel (featuring a surprise fashion show with Edie Campbell and Pixie Geldof), at the label's Bond Street store was such a hit with shoppers that even latecomer Daisy Lowe had to stand on the stairs because there were no seats left. Queues at Alexander McQueen spanned the length of Old Bond Street, as shoppers vied for a chance to enter the label's special prize draw.
Super luxurious handbag brand Aspinal will be on the hunt for their new face, so get your best pout at the ready
Jonathan Saunders has teamed up with the event to design these super chic T-shirts in blue and pink

Thursday!
Today was interesting. Gosh the Year 7's get stranger each year. I was at a bus stop (As you do) and my sister's ex boyfriend walks along, with his massive backpack. (Do the year 7's remind you of turtles or is it just me?) and his little friends come along. One of them tripped up an old lady... Leave it at that. One of them repeated a joke (Which is good enough to steal, ssshh). I'm doing your mum. A favour.
69% of people find dirty content in sentences.
Then they giggled with their girly, unbroken voices. Bless their little cotton socks; but tripping up an old lady... I'm telling your mummy on you. Weird as I actually know their mums, aha. Oooft, get me. Anyway, freedom to go home for lunch. It really does bug me when people my age are smoking in general. But it's worse when they do it in: public places, where teachers patrol the area and when it's in your face. I mean I do the fake asthma attack on them. Pow, own the street. Anywhoo. Apologies to any year 7's reading who may feel offended. But yeah, if you trip up old ladies or are deliberately being a silly billy. I may have to call your mummy.
